Planning a baby shower – fun games for your baby shower
Baby showers don’t have to be over the top. If you are planning a baby shower here are some amazing games that are guaranteed to make your baby shower a success.
Baby shower game 1: Jellybabies
Things you will need
- A packet of colorful jelly-babies
- Ice cube trays – make sure you have enough trays to make at least one ice cube per guest
- Disposable cups
How to play
You need to keep things ready in advance to play this game – you need to give enough time for the jelly-baby ice cubes to freeze. Place the colorful jelly-babies in the ice tray one by one and fill it with water and place them in the freezer.
At the baby shower make an announcement that you are starting a game without giving a clue as to what the game is about. Put a frozen jelly-belly in a disposable cup and fill it up with fruit juice or water before serving it to excited guests. Each cup has to be filled with the same amount of beverage. Remind your guests to wait until everyone has a drink in their hand.
The jelly-baby game can begin when everyone is ready. The idea is not to crunch the cubes or forcibly melt them by sucking on it. In short the ice cubes should melt on their own. The winner is the first guest whose baby (jelly-baby) is born.
Baby shower game 2: Never say ‘baby’
Things you will need
- One dummy for each person at the baby shower
