I am 14 weeks pregnant and battling with break outs on my face, chest and back. I have been using Dermalogica overnight clearing gel directly on the spots to help get rid of them quicker and I wanted to know if this product was okay to use during pregnancy? About Sally and Hot Mama Distribution

About Sally Wheat
Sally's years of charity work within the children's and women's hospitals in Australia, nursing new born babies born into difficult circumstances and talking with doctors and midwives gave her a mission. "Along with longevity and success in business I wanted to somehow make a real difference. What better way than to play a part in protecting life at its most vulnerable stage and, at the same time, helping women to look and feel fabulous? I have seen the very worst of what not making sure a developing baby is protected from harmful chemicals and ingredients can do in my charity work, so it was natural for me to continue my expertise in this area into my business."

It took 2 years after looking into the effects of chemicals absorbed into the skin to find the best maternity skin care line in the world, Sally discovered Belli and the science of teratology. Alarmed by the fact that so many skin care products contained ingredients that are harmful to unborn babies, she was impressed by the dedication and commitment to education of Belli's creators, Dr Jason Rubin and Annette Rubin. "I was shocked to discover how little was known about the effects of skin care products on the developing fetus, especially in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Many parts of the world provide lengthy advice on using teratology screened products during pregnancy or phthalate free on your baby and warnings about the real effects of what you are putting on your skin."

Sally works closely with Doctors and Obstetricians across Australia to ensure that women are aware of the risks and provide them with options that their doctor supports. "My goal is to ensure women are informed and personally do everything to reduce the risks of birth defects and long term effects in newborns through skin care. The choice after educating is a personal one and one that we respect completely. But in order to make the right choice you need to be armed with the most information and education that is real and factual. Belli provides real information, news and the latest advances to the women of Australia and across Asia."
