CELEBRITIES AND DESIGNERS ADD “A TOUCH OF GOLD” TO MARQUISE BABY SINGLETS TO RAISE MONEY FOR SICK KIDS
Luxe baby brand Marquise has enlisted the support of 35 first‐class celebrities including a powerhouse of
Australian designers to support Sydney Children’s Hospital’s Gold Week (31 May – 6 June 2010) through the
Marquise Babywear designer singlet exhibition.
This year’s stellar lineup includes international supermodels Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington as well as
Little Joe by Gail Elliott, Camilla and Marc, Zimmermann, Peter Alexander, Anna & Boy, Kirrily Johnston,
Mimco, Dinosaur Designs, Easton Pearson, Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Brett Lee, Lee Mathews, Jayson Brunsdon,
and many more.
Marquise Babywear called on each participant to create their very own unique, custom designed white baby
singlet to be framed and auctioned online (www.goldweek.org.au) in support of Gold Week, the major
fundraising campaign for Sydney Children’s Hospital.
To celebrate this fabulous collaboration, Westfield Bondi Junction is proud to host the Marquise Babywear
designer singlet exhibition for the second year running. The exhibition will be held in a pop up installation in
centre court from Tuesday 25th May until Sunday 6th June 2010.
A VIP cocktail party will be held onsite on Tuesday 25th May from 6pm to celebrate the launch of the project.
This year Gold Week turns five, and to celebrate finally becoming a ‘big kid’ we are all hoping to raise as much
money as possible for all the kids treated at Sydney Children’s Hospital!
The funds raised during Gold Week allow the Hospital to do things like buy life saving equipment, refurbish
wards, fund specialist medical positions and conduct research. To find out more, visit www.goldweek.org.au
