A little girl I know was recently lost this way, and it is too horrible to risk it happening again to another child... read more

*From 9 November 2009, there will be changes to the child restraint legislation in Victoria*

New Parenting Tips

Buy a laminator
A laminator can be a very handy tool around the house for preserving kids' artwork bought home from child care, kinder, school and so on. It's also handy for making well-used recipes and other bits and pieces last longer. An A3 size gives plenty of room for larger pieces of artwork. They aren't particularly expensive and are available from department stores and office supply stores.

Organise your personalised Christmas cards
If you're considering having personalised Christmas cards printed with your family photo or children's photo on the front, now is a good time to start getting them organised to receive them in time. Whilst they are more expensive that pre-packaged Christmas cards, they are a thoughtful keepsake for friends and relatives.
