New Parenting Tips
Use bags for sultanas instead of boxes
Rather than giving your toddler a box of sultanas as a snack, give them a snap lock bag of sultanas. A bag is much easier for little fingers to manage and is less likely to spill, you can control the portion size and they stay fresher if they aren't eaten all at once.
Safer fridge magnets
Look for fridge magnets which have the whole back as a flat magnet rather than a small magnet attached, like on the back of alphabet magnets. Flat magnets will not fall off as easily so are safer if they go into baby's mouth. There are some great kids designs available!

Do you use green bags for shopping?
Many stores and in one case a whole state (South Australia) have said no to plastic bags - including Target who as of 1st June will no longer supply plastic bags to customers.
Green bags are great for the environment, but remembering to take them (along with kids, pusher, nappy bag etc.) on every shopping trip could prove challenging at times. Do you remember to take your green bags? Plastic bags are also useful as bin liners - what environmentally friendly alternatives are there?
