New Parenting Tips
Mix up story time
Try spicing up story time by reading in different places around the house. Read on the floor in the lounge, or tucked up together in Mum and Dad's bed, on the couch, outside, in a bean bag, in your child's bed or anywhere that might create an interesting atmosphere to enjoy a book together.
Keep warranties and instructions all together
Set up a folder or scrapbook especially for warranties and instructions from kids' toys and equipment and be diligent at putting them in there. Then they're easy to find if you ever need them.

Discussion Issue
Do your kids get involved in the cooking?
The media release Too Many Cooks Improve the Broth discusses how new research indicates that many parents don't get their kids involved in the kitchen regularly which can hinder children learning about cooking, health and nutrition.
Do you involve your kids when it comes to cooking or choosing the family menu? Do they participate in the grocery shopping? Do you cook with them, and if so do they enjoy it?
