Plastic bibs save mess and washing
My baby is at the messy stage so he's now using a plastic bib and it saves heaps of cleaning and washing. It's so easy just to wipe the bib afterwards instead of having to wash it each time and it dries quickly too. When he spills his drink he doesn't get as wet as he did with a cloth bib.

Get the kids into the garden!
The start of autumn and spring are a great time to get the kids learning about plants. As an activity we bought a planter box and planted some flower seeds in it. Over the coming weeks we'll enjoy watering it and watching the seedlings grow into flowers. I put it right near the front door so we won't forget to water it!
