Keep
Baby asleep whilst checking him/her at night
Buy a small touch light and place it in your dressing gown
pocket. When you go in to check your baby through the night,
you won't have to turn on the main light, just press your
light in the pocket and it will provided enough light/glow
to see your baby without waking them up.

Be
prepared for sickness when starting child care and kindy
One thing that no one told me before my daughter started
at day care was that she would get sick quite a lot to begin
with! My daughter has been going to kindy for approx two
months now and has been sick non stop with colds and flus.
My doctor informed me that this was quite normal however
it was still quite a shock to begin with.

Discussion Issue
Was your baby born
on time?
It is said that only 5% of babies are born
on their due date. Did your baby come on your due date,
or was it early or late? If it was early, were there any
complications involved as a result? If it was late, how
did it feel having to wait for the extra time?
