Discussion Issue
Have you put up a Christmas tree
this year or is it just too difficult
with a baby around?
It's lovely to have a Christmas tree and decorations up at this time of the year but it can also be a big problem with a baby around. The possibilities range from pulling off decorations, to unwrapping presents, to playing with Christmas lights, to pulling the tree down on themselves. Some babies are happy just to look at a Christmas tree and once told "no" a few times, but some just can't help themselves!
What's your baby like around the Christmas tree? Have you found it ok or just too much trouble to keep an eye out all the time? Have you put presents under the tree or are you keeping them until Christmas Eve once baby goes to bed?

Shop Ahead: Be Organised and Save Money
I call this the shop ahead. When I found out that I was about to become a mother for the 6th time, I started to add "baby items" to my grocery list each week. For example, nappies (in all different sizes), wipes, creams, thing to take to hospital, and so on. It is a lot easier when bub comes and also saves on some money.

Take Baby's PJs to Night Outings
When you are going out at night with your baby, if you know you're likely to be home late, pack baby's pyjamas and before you head home put them on with a clean nappy. If baby falls asleep in the car you don't have to disturb them - all you have to do is carry them into bed.
