Discussion Issue

Does/Will your baby take swimming lessons?
Swimming lessons are a great way to let babies become accustomed to water and get comfortable with it. It's a great way for baby and parents to bond and to meet other families with kids the same age.

It is also an important safety measure to consider if your family lives near any kind of water whether it be the ocean, a creek, a dam or even a pond which is part of a water feature.

Do you or do you plan to take your baby to swimming lessons? Has your baby been in water before? Is your baby comfortable in water? Do you live near water?

New Parenting Tips

Are You Planning on More than One Child?
If you are considering having more than one child, bear this in mind when buying a pusher. Some come with the option to attach a toddler seat which is a great way to wheel two littlies without around the width of a twin pusher. It is also cheaper to consider this when buying now than to wish you had later and wind up having to buy a new pusher again the next time around.

Keep Your Grater Shiny and New
If you have a steel cheese grater, to prevent it from rusting, wash it immediately after use, pat it dry and put it in the oven on medium for 5-10 minutes. This dries out all of the moisture especially in the cracks that the tea towel can't reach. If you have a wood heater sit the grater on top for 10-20 minutes for the same effect. (Only try this if your grater is completely made of metal.)
