Discussion Issue

Are girls' and boys' behaviour different in highchairs?

The mother of a 15 month old boy says - we don't go out for dinner with our baby anymore because all he wants to do is get out of the high chair and run around. It is exhausting and very stressful and none of us enjoy ourselves.

The mother of a 14 month old girl says - our baby is great to take out for dinner - she loves sitting in the highchair watching everyone around her or playing with her toys and reading her board books.

New Parenting Tips

Let your baby get lots of winter wear out of light tops even with short sleeves by putting them on top of layers. Depending on how cold it is you can include a singlet, a skivvy, and a long sleeved tee-shirt underneath.

If you a bit rusty on nursery rhymes buy a CD so you can re-learn them, even if baby is still too young to appreciate them. In time, baby will have hours of fun learning them too!
