About Leigh Kostiainen
Leigh Kostiainen, one of the new generation of social webmasters who launched and currently operates two social networking sites in Australia, is also a work from home mother of two boys.
“I had been looking for the ideal work from home business for many years as I had lost my corporate drive after having children, finally I have found my niche. With one at school and a 2 year old at home I manage to juggle it all.”
The boutique job board and social networking site, Hire My Mum, connects time poor business owners with skilled mothers working from their home offices while the Grandparents Network opens the online social networking world to the growing ‘baby boomer’ generation.
A strong sense of community involvement saw Leigh recently chair the establishment of local athletics sporting facilities within her region and preside as President of their local Little Athletics Centre.
“I am looking forward to offering return to work and business start up advice to Mum Zone members where I can, and share some of the experiences that I have had in business over the years.”
