Annalise Law Joins Honour Roll of Women in Business

Mother of Twins Named 2009 NSW Business Owner of the Year at the Telstra Business Women's Awards.

Annalise Law, managing director of promotional products company The Kanga Group, was awarded the coveted 2009 NSW Business Owner Award and was a finalist in the National Telstra Business Women's Awards and joins a distinguished group of extraordinary women making headway in business.

Delivering creative marketing solutions to major corporate organisations spanning FMCG, finance, government and liquor industries, The Kanga Group has supplied over 2 million promotional items to more than 14 countries worldwide in the past two years alone. Clients include corporate leaders American Express, GlaxoSmithKline and Bacardi Global.

A dynamic leader and hands-on strategic operator, Annalise says that being at the helm of a multinational promotional products company with international Fortune 100 clients was a distant dream when she founded the company in 2005.

"I am very pleased that the dream is coming true and is allowing me a work-life balance that I would have struggled to achieve if I hadn't taken the plunge to start my own business," said Annalise.

"Having your own business doesn't come without a lot of hard work, certain sacrifices, a clear vision and lots of support crew. Winning this award is a small vindication for the sacrifices made to achieve my goals of owning my own business whilst also excelling at my other roles as wife and mother to two-year old twin girls."

The Kanga Group opened its first international office last year in the UK and a US office is slated to open in 2010.
