New MILO B-SMART - providing essential nutrition for today's children

Nestle has introduced new MILO B-SMART, specifically formulated for mental development, focus and concentration in children, thanks to the addition of iron and iodine, together with other essential nutrients.

Still with the same MILO taste which kids love, new MILO B-SMART has 25% reduced sugar and fat* and is approved by the Heart Foundation, making it a great nutritious snack.

Nutritional information includes:

• Iron and Iodine - Iodine is an essential nutrient for normal brain development in children, commonly found in fresh fish and dairy foods. One glass of MILO B-Smart and milk contains 40 percent of a child's recommended daily intake of iodine,

Nutritionist Karen Inge believes iodine should be top of every parent's health agenda; "I see many parents whose children are fussy eaters and it's difficult to get children to eat foods which contain iodine such as oily fish," Ms Inge says. "MILO B-Smart is a convenient and tasty way of ensuring children get their daily dose of iodine and have the right nutrients to grow and develop in those crucial years".

• ACTIV-B - helps to release energy from food (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) and consists of: B group vitamins, Vitamin C, Iron and minerals including; magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.

• PROTOMALT - a specifically formulated extract of malted barley and cereals, it also contains some B vitamins, minerals and protein.
