Worldly Kids launches Mi-House

Australia's first environmentally sustainable cubby house

Forward thinking children's product company, Mi-House, has answered the concerns of an increasing number of environmentally and socially conscious parents and launched Australia's first environmentally sustainable and educational cubby house.

The progressive product is a completely eco friendly play house for children aged 3 to 7 years of age to decorate and play in. It is made from recycled material, is easily recyclable after use and for every unit purchased a tree will be planted by Junior Landcare.

While creating and playing in their house children will learn about caring for the environment and understanding other cultures. Children can cut out stick on additions such as a water tank, an energy efficient fridge and recycling symbols while learning about why these things are important for the planet.

Children can even convert their ordinary western style shaped house into an Igloo, Dutch Windmill, Russian Dacha or Japanese Sukiya. These separate accessories come with a story told by illustrated Mi-House characters Syd and Pipi, who appear in national costume and explain how each culture cares for their local environment.

For endless hours of fun, Mi-House has also created an interactive website with heaps of colouring activities, suggestions for decorating, competitions, more environmental tips as well as puzzles and quizzes.

The environment is kids' number one fear after losing a parent and they're keen to help.
