Media Release: Living after stillbirth and miscarriage

Fiona Sly has had her fair share to deal with having had nine pregnancies, including an ectopic pregnancy, three miscarriages and two stillborn births.

After her first miscarriage Fiona contacted SIDS and Kids and found their support invaluable. She became involved as a volunteer helping grieving parents who have experienced stillbirths and miscarriages. She loves being able to help others going through the same pain she has experienced which in turn helps her to heal.

The Courier journalist Karen Keast has interviewed Fiona in depth about her pregnancies, her work with SIDs and Kids and Red Nose Day on 27th June 2008.
