We have handpicked the best of the best cafés in Melbourne that have a fun and exciting vibe with an environment suitable for you and your bubbas.

What Hey Bambini is About
So you've decided to bundle up baby and go on your first big outing since coming home from hospital. It can be a daunting experience with so much to remember - bottles, nappies, pram, the address to the cafe and do they take credit card?

At Hey Bambini we've tried to make life a little easier by telling you what to expect from your local cafe before even leaving the house.

Let's face it you don't want to drive across town to the latest trendy cafe to find that there is no room for your pram, it's so loud you can't hear yourself think and they don't accept credit cards!!
We review cafes and tell you everything!

If it's a pram friendly environment, changing facilities, opening hours, menus, payment options, atmosphere and if they have courtyard area for you and your baby to sit down and enjoy time together.

About Us
The Hey Bambini concept was conceived when I was actually pregnant with our first son Oscar.
I've been in Melbourne for 5 years and instantly fell in love with the coffee and restaurant culture. My husband and l are passionate foodies and love to try anything new and different. Then with falling pregnant l must admit I was worried about still having the freedom to be able to go out for our weekly breakfast and brunches with what was once two of us now becoming three.

I jumped online (as with everyone these days) and did some research into baby friendly cafes and foodie websites and l found nothing was available for me. Every café will say they are "baby friendly" - but are they really?? And do they have a little extra to offer the baby crowd??

That's when I started my journey on about to find unique places that cater for us mums and bubs.

We've found some quirky places with great changing facilities and entertainment for the kids and I'm only more than happy to share it with you.
