Walking for Life in Gungahlin: Breast Cancer Research

The Marketplace and The G Gungahlin have again joined forces and organised the second Gungahlin - Walk for Life fundraiser for Sunday 20 September with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research.

The walk will commence at 10am from the Linear Park town common, for 5km around the Gungahlin Town Centre and Yerrabi Pond.

Organisers, Julie Walter from The G Gungahlin and Nicole Gibson from The Marketplace are very excited by the event. "We encourage people of all ages to register for the walk. Gungahlin is a growing and active community and with the support of residents and shoppers of the Gungahlin Town Centre, and are thrilled we can make this an annual event".

Pre and Post warm ups will be provided by Fernwood Womens Health Club Gungahlin along with a BBQ, live entertainment, market stalls and local Canberra identities.

Registration is $20 for adults and children free. Free Sample Bags will be given away on the day.

Registration forms can be collected at all stores in the Gungahlin Town Centre or at the Centre Management offices at The Marketplace and The G Gungahlin. Registrations can also be made on the day from 8am.
