WANTED: A regular Aussie woman for a business and life makeover!

During difficult economic times, popular women's networking organisation Essentially for Women is providing hope, motivation and inspiration to Australian women by announcing the Business and Life Makeover Awards.

The lucky grand prize winner will receive more than $30,000 in prizes designed to totally transform her life and business.

Prizes include a complete image makeover including stylist, skincare, clothing, jewellery and photographs; as well as a business makeover including business coaching, mentoring, publicity, web and graphic design, and personalised business products.

Founder of Essentially for Women, Lyndsey Baigent said the awards were aimed at supporting women in small or home-based business.

"The Awards are designed to totally transform the business and life of the winner, over a 12 month period," said Ms Baigent.

"It will be a completely life changing experience," she said.

"What an amazing gift for the winner of the grand prize!"

The Awards include a grand prize, second prize, third prize and runners up prizes.

Entries to the Awards close on June 26, 2009, with a gala Awards Dinner Presentation Dinner in Brisbane on September 12, 2009.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be an opportunity to raise money for the group's chosen charity for 2009, Butterfly Kid, which offers support, resources and information for families and children with special needs.    

Entry is open to any woman in Australia who is aged over 18 and who is not part of a franchise.

About Founder Lyndsey Baigent

  • Lyndsey created Essentially for Women in 2007 as a way to empower, support and inspire other women.
  • Lyndsey overcame significant personal issues including being suicidal, a gambler, drinker and smoker to create a successful business.
  • Lyndsey wanted to share the strategies she'd learned on her personal journey so other women could enjoy the sense of freedom that comes as a result of understanding and mastering their emotions.
