YourChildsHealthRecord.com uses an expert system developed by WWW MacHealth Pty Ltd, the creators of yourdiagnosis.com. The site was developed in consultation with Australian Doctors and mothers of children both with and without medical conditions as well as independent surveys on parent’s requirements for an e-health site.

The site’s launch comes at a time when debate over the importance of individual-centred electronic health records is high on the public and Government agenda. Recent Government reports are estimating that an electronic patient-centred Personal Health Record (ePHR) would prevent thousands of health-care errors.
