Reader's Question

Hi

I have a 2.5yr old and she tends to hit when she doesn't get her way or sometimes even when you look at her doing something or when you talk to her and she is not in the mood... I don't know how to overcome this... If you are able to help out that'll be great. Thanks.

Kirsti's Response

Hi,

Thanks for your email. All children go through different stages as they grow and become increasingly aware of their environment.

As I am a Life Coach for mums and not a specialist in child behaviour skills, you may like to contact either your local baby clinic, a medical practitioner for a referral to a child paediatrician, research appropriate books and DVD's for new ideas and/or undertake an online search for a support group for ideas on new strategies to deal with these behavioural issues of your 2.5 year old.

I work with many mums on various issues that affect them personally and on an emotional level. If this sounds familiar, you may like to consider speaking with me directly for a coaching session by phone. Please feel free to contact me on 02 8521 9433 or via email on kirsti@spheresofsuccess.com.au
