Reader's Question

Now having three children I am finding it impossible to balance quality time with each child, for myself and my relationship... What are some tips you can advise?

Kirsti's Response

Hello and thanks for your email,

I am very passionate and believe quite strongly in mothers finding balance in their lives. I believe its imperative for your mind, body and soul. Its very important you find something outside of being a mum that you really enjoy. For me, I find daily exercise and meditation is working wonders for my soul. My husband stays back a bit in the morning before work and I go for a run alone. This is my time, to just be.

For me, I find exercise strengthens my mindset and spirit. Meditation also plays a key part in being a healthy mum. You may like to jump on YouTube and download an 8 min meditation which suits you. That's all I do and its a wonderful treat for myself. So - what is your treat? When you decide and take action on this, your life and your happiness will improve.

I hear you saying "how can I possibly find time to do all this" Well, you can! Make the decision to fit some 'me' time into your schedule. If I can, you can! I will tell you why. My husband and I have just moved from the south Coast for NSW, Kiama away from friends, family and support to a very remote community called Jabiru in the Kakadu National Park. I have a very busy 2.5 year old and an 8 month old baby. On top of being a committed mum , I am also balancing my career with the daily demands of running a household. I am running my own Life Coaching business and a new international Personal Development business from home! Like you, I was really struggling with juggling all my commitments. Only the other day, I decided that I could run two businesses, be a mum, find balance and be happy! You can too!

If you want more tips on how to schedule 'me' time into your daily routine please email me at kirsti@spheresofsuccess.com.au or follow me on Facebook.
