Reader's Question

How do I get my 14 month old twin boys to sleep through the night? I would even settle for most of the night. At the moment they are waking about 5 or 6 times each a night. I average about 2 hours sleep at the moment.

Kirsti's Response

Hi and thanks for your email,

When I read your email, I immediately thought WOW! someone else is going through a similar challenge to me right now. Like you, my little girl has all of a sudden refused to go to bed in her cot and will not sleep alone. I have had countless sleepless nights and it has taken its toll. I can appreciate how this would be impacting on your emotional and physical health right now. As I am a Life Coach and not an expert on sleep issues among babies and toddlers, I can work with you personally on how to manage your current situation and emotional state. However if this is purely a sleep related request, you may like to contact one of the following organisations for more specialised help.

I hope this information provides you with some assistance. Your local council may also provide some valuable information on other parenting support networks in your area. If you would like to speak with me personally, please contact Kirsti directly on 02 8521 9433.
