Toasted Turkish Breads


Professional Chef, TV presenter and Dad Geoff Jansz has shared some of his great recipes with Mum Zone readers.

Toasted Turkish Breads

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
4 turkish rolls
1/2 cup Rosella Tomato and Olive Chutney
8 slices prosciutto
8 slices mozzarella cheese
8 slices char-grilled eggplant
8 slices char-grilled capsicum
1 cup semi-dried tomatoes
120g baby rocket leaves

Method:

  1. Heat Sunbeam Sandwich Press.
  2. Cut Turkish rolls in half and spread with Rosella Tomato and Olive Chutney.
  3. Place a 2 slices of prosciutto, cheese, eggplant and capsicum on the base, top with semi dried tomatoes and rocket leaves.
  4. Place in sandwich press and cook for 3-5 minutes or until green light indicates cooked.
  5. Serve immediately with extra chutney.

Note: Chargrilled vegetables can be purchased at the deli making this a quick and tasty snack.
