Mum Zone Baby of the Month Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry is via www.mumzone.com.au/baby-of-the-month/enter-your-baby.php.

2. The Baby of the Month competition will run every month and commence at 12:00am AEST on the first day of each month and close at 11.59pm AEST on the last day of each month. The December 2009 competition will close on the 31st December 2009 and will be drawn on 2nd January 2010.

If the prize is unclaimed, it will be redrawn on 2nd April 2010.

3. Entry is only open to Australian residents.

4. To be eligible, entrants must complete and submit the Baby of the Month entry form including an answer to the question displayed on the form and a photo of their baby. The entrant can choose to subscribe to the Mum Zone newsletter as part of their entry.

Please note:

• Entries are open to babies and children up to 5 years of age.
• By entering this competition the entrant authorises Mum Zone to publish their child's photo along with the child's first name and age on the Mum Zone website and newsletter. No further details about the child will be published.
• Only 1 child per entry. If an entrant has more than 1 child they'd like to enter, a separate entry form should be submitted for each child.
• Entrants should only enter photographs that they have permission to publish (eg. photos they have taken themselves or if taken by a photographer, that they have permission to use).

5. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter reserves the right to request that a Prize Winner provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

6. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible and disregarded. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entry is limited to one entry per person. Only one prize per person will be awarded. Entries that do not comply with the format requirement for entry will not be accepted.

7. Judging will take place at the premises of the promoter (PO Box 122, North Bendigo, Victoria 3550) at approximately 8pm on the 1st business day of the month following the promotional period. Attempts will be made to notify the Prize Winners by email within 7 days of judging.

8. The Prize for the December 2009 competition prize is a $50 gift voucher from Pojo Kids (RRP $50).

The Prize for the January 2010 competition prize is a Natural Baby Care Gift Hamper from Weleda.

• (Note as of November 2009 we have had a rice rise of 10% on our products, and this hamper value is RRP $109)

This competition is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. To enter and be eligible to win, entrants must read these terms and conditions, and must also provide, in the space indicated the Entry Form, an answer to the question displayed (in 25 words or less), plus submit a photo of their baby. For the duration of the month after the entrant's photo is submitted, Mum Zone readers will vote for their favourite photo and the photo with the most votes and the correct answer to the entry question will receive the prize. (Readers can only vote for each photo once in any 24 hour period - this is controlled by the use of cookies.)

9. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars unless where stipulated. The Promoter takes no responsibility, nor accepts any responsibility for any variation in prize values.

10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries lost in transit or not received by the time of the draw due to technical disruptions or any other reason beyond the control of the Promoter.

11. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All personal details of winning entrants will be stored electronically. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter. The Promoter's privacy policy in relation to treatment of personal information collected can be found here.

12. There will be a redraw for any unclaimed prizes no sooner than 3 months from the date of the original draw. If an unclaimed prize draw is required it will be on the redraw date specified in clause 2.

13. The winners' first names and states will be published in the Mum Zone newsletter and on the Mum Zone website.

14. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to written directions from State Regulatory bodies.

15. For entrants who choose to subscribe to the Mum Zone newsletter - as per standard Newsletter Subscription conditions, in addition to the above stated conditions, your email address will be used solely to send you the Mum Zone newsletter and related correspondence. You are free to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time you wish.
