BabyBlinks follows a formula that most parents may not notice. Individual editions have certain Target segments. "Marvellous Moments" target segments focus on the alphabet, emotions and parts of the body. For instance the first alphabet segment introduces all the letters. The second segment shows examples of each letter. The last segment gives children the time to repeat the letters after the voice over.
BabyBlinks innovative dual soundtrack has been designed with both children and parents in mind. Parents have the option of playing the BabyBlinks Mix, an upbeat version for fun or the Purely Classical version, which is perfect for quieter times such as calming before bedtime.
The DVDs encourage positive interaction. It is recommended that parents view BabyBlinks with their children, treating it like an interactive picture book, pointing things out and asking questions along the way.
To compliment the DVDs BabyBlinks have recently launched wooden peg puzzles for toddlers featuring their favourite BabyBlinks friends. When playing with these puzzles, children practice observing, grasping, and development of fine motor skills.
